people ask me why I like neither. It's very simple. I like neither because the fact they ruined everyone elses' lives. Aperture made an AI that killed every employee besides Chell and Doug Rattman. Also that means Chell and the Ratman when they go to the surface they will never have normal lives again, Black mesa also helps with that too. Black mesa made some pretty cool stuff , not to get me wrong, but Black mesa has done some pretty messed up crap to the outside world. For example, Black mesa made a 
portal to xen and now aliens have came out and destroyed the outside world completely. no one can have normal lives and no were to run on earth. Thanks, aperture and black mesa.
